CR for breakfast and then MK for the day

I am going to Disney in May and have made an ADR for 7:40 at The Wave at CR for our MK day. I was wondering if I could park at CR for the ADR and then either walk or ride the monorail to MK? Or should I park at the TTC and go to CR then to MK? not sure how the parking system works. and for clarity I'm not staying onsite.

You cannot leave your car at the resort when you go into the park. There are limited parking spaces for the actual guests of the resort, so that would be frowned upon. Better to park at TTC.

Park in the TTC. Take the resort monorail (not the express) to CR. Walk off breakfast afterwards strolling to the MK. <-- This is our plan when we go in two weeks.

Simple no you can’t park at Contemporary or any other resort all day to go to park after ADR.

Doesn't OP need to consider MK opening time in the advice to park at the TTC and take the monorail? If it's a 9am MK opening, the MK parking lot itself generally isn't going to open until 8am'ish. That's going to be a problem with a 7:40am Wave ADR. An 8am MK opening would be OK.

OP - if an option for you, personally I think the best method to get to a 7:40am Wave ADR is ride-share.

Yah for this day, OP’s best option is a ride share to CR. It shouldn’t be more than $10 per car, which is likely cheaper than paying at MK lot unless OP has an AP.

Double that price. The OP needs to return to their offsite accommodations. If surge pricing is in effect, it will be cheaper to park the car in the theme park lot.

Except the parking lot may not be open in time for OP to get to their 7:40 reservation. They would likely have to drive to CR and park there for breakfast, then go to the MK parking lot and park there and take the monorail or ferry.

I imagine part of the reason for the early breakfast at The Wave is to be close to MK for rope drop. The added complications of driving their own car would likely frustrate that purpose.

Cost vs convenience. Chances are very good that MK opening will change between now and the OP's trip. In which case, the TTC parking lot will be open in time and the monorail will be running early enough for them to get to The Wave in time.
