What are people's thoughts on the breakfast options at the Food & Fun Center? I haven't stayed at CR in years and was surprised that they don't have any waffles or french toast. DS and I don't like an egg breakfast. Do you just grab something light there (pastry) or eat something in your room before heading to the parks? Just looking for some tips.., :confused3

We only ate breakfast there once during our 8 days....I had a muffin which was pretty good. My dh & kids split the egg sandwich and then a plate of eggs & some fruit. They weren't too impressed & the eggs were cold so I went to the store later that day and just grabbed some breakfast items to eat in the room everyday. Nice when you have a fridge to put milk & juice in. I got a little thing of milk, some individual juices & yoguirt...a box of cereal (& disposible bowls..used plastic spoons from food center that I grabbed when we ate down there another time) and some fruit & muffins. Worked great to just eat in the room before heading out. The kids coud eat while we got ready and visa versa. Sometimes if we wanted coffee we would go to the Conteporary Grounds coffee shop...Great coffee compared to the coffee in the food center..yuk! and they had pastries there too that were great. That worked for us anyway!

We ate there a few times. We shared the egg, bacon, hash brown, biscuit meal and the pancake and bacon meal. Another day we got croissants and bagels. It was nothing special, but not bad for a quick meal.
