CP Package and "extra diners"

Is it possible for the adults in my group to purchase the CP package, but on our reservation have more people (3-teens) at our table. They do not want to attend CP with us but we would like to have them eat dinner with us atleast and pay separate for them.

We did this very thing last year, our two teen boys had previously seen the CP on other trips and didn't want to do it this trip. Be forewarned some of the cast members at Disney dining will tell you "no everyone has to be on the pkg." This is not true I called back because I thought that was about the dumbest thing I had ever heard and got a cast member with a brain. No problem. Paid cash for the boys!!
