:teacher: Please educate me.
I've tried to puzzle out what the best deal is and I think it's booking 2 value rooms with FD but am hoping to get a more knowledgible 2nd opinion.
We are DH, me, DD20, DD18, DD13 and DS11.
We can get a room through oldest DD CP for $72, but that still only gets one of 2 rooms, she cannot book 2 rooms - is that correct?
Because all of us are considered Disney adults for dining purposes, does paying rack for the rooms avg $186/night make more sense?
Is there some other option I'm missing completely?

Thank you endlessly for any clarity you can provide.

Hi again,

I see this post is getting views but no replies. Am I making the question too complicated? Or maybe it's so simple and no one wants to speak up and tell me the answer is obvious? The last trip I booked was pretty straightforward compared to this. :/

TIA.

No sure of the answer, but because my DD is going to be a CP this fall I have found the College Board (Parents thread) to be quite helpful.

I would suggest posting it there and see if someone might help you!

Have a great day!

There are too many variables to make it a straight-forward question -- length of stay, which resort, what is rack rate, which dining plan, cost of dining plan, cost of dining OOP, does everyone on the reservation need tickets, etc.

I think you need to do out your math to see what works best for your family. At quick glance my gut reaction is the free dining might be a better deal, but it may not work out that way when you look at the actual figures with everything considered.

Enjoy your vacation!

Thank you very much for helping me understand just how complex it is. I'm good with math, but trying to put it into Excel in a useful way is proving a challenge for me. That said, I am making progress. Woot!
