How does the timing work for the CP dinner packages? I know the CP has three performances an evening. I was thinking of going to the early performance and eating afterword. I am just curious if they have set times for this, or you have to estimate when to eat. How long is each performance? How early do you have to get there before the CP starts? Obviously we are first timers at this. I know I need to call 9/2. Any suggestions would be welcome!

WDW Dining has a group of times that are available for each show. All you really need to know ahead of time is what show & day, and do you want to eat before or after.

The CP show lasts about 45 minutes. I'd allow 15-20 minutes to exit and walk to the restaurant. You can adjust that time depending on how far away your chosen restaurant is from the American Pavillion.

If you have the dinner package, you need to be there at least 15 minutes ahead of show start or risk losing your seat. My advice is to arrive about 30 minutes ahead of time. (I m assuming you are going during the first half of December. If you are going Christmas week, you should probably get in line about 45 minutes ahead of time. Lots more people get the packages closer to Christmas).

There are two lines to get into the theater - one for package guests and one for stand-by (no package) guests. Last year the line for package guests was on the left side of the theater if you are facing the theater/WS lagoon.

Best wishes -

The last 2 years we did the 6:45 show followed by 8:00 LeCellier PS, worked out perfect.

Hi VMS,

Deb Wills's site has great, detailed, step-by-step info. It's like a primer for all things Disney. The Candlelight Processional page gives basic info on times/strategies, the available dinner packages with prices, even a list of guest narrators. The email address is http://allearsnet.com/tp/h_cpfaq.htm

We plan on including the CP package in our 2005 holiday trip, so I'd love to hear about your experience. Hope this helps.
