Hi All.... I was fortunate to get regular ADRs for a party of 10 at LeCellier on Tuesday, December 22nd. The time is 5:05. The cast member suggested the CP package but it would take two credits and I didn't do it. She said I probably would not get to see the CP as a general admission because the CP packages will get all the seats. I have heard someone else say that if you get in line you can get in.

What is the experience of DISers on the subject?

We'll go to our first CP this December. While I don't have experience I've been reading the Disboards practically every day since April and I have read that many of the CP shows have no seats left for persons without the package. If you were going to be there a week earlier, I expect that you could get a seat. But you will be there so close to Christmas and would be trying to get a seat for the most popular showtime.

You can hear the concert from outside the theater if you are unable to get seats.

I would keep your ADR at Le Cellier on Dec. 22nd. It's hard to get an ADR there for the dinner package much less any time for that many people. So keep that.

However I would try going to the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package another night of your trip. Try Tutto Italia or Tepan Edo for the dinner package. That close to Christmas you will have a very tough time getting in from the standby line.

Thank you for replying. I may just try the standby line for a couple of the shows. We will be at Epcot for a couple of evenings. I have ADRs for Tutto Italia for another evening. Do you know if they can add the CP to an existing ressie, or is it a whole separate ADR?

I think it's a whole separate reservation. You would probably have to cancel the Tutto reservation that evening and rebook with the CP package. make sure tutto or wherever you want to dine is available for the CP before cancelling your original ADR. That's the whole reason why some restaraunts sell out of the CP but still have regular ADRs still available. They only have a limited amount of seating for the CP.

Just reading and learning and adding another question . . .

I will be waiting in stand-by too:sad2: on Dec. 19.

What show would be the least popular of the three: 5:00, 6:45 or 8:00?

TIA:flower3:

I have heard that the 5:00 is the least popular due to the fact that it is still light out. I tried on my 90 day date to get reservations and got shot down at all my choices. I think it was because there were only 2 in our party. We may try the stand-by line or just watch from the back. I'm disappointed, but I will survive.
