When do they usually begin taking bookings for the CP Dinner packages? Is it the normal 90 day PS window?

Also, is this something that you have to prepay at the time of booking?

So far, the CP packages have not followed the 90 day windows. I don't recall exactly when they started accepting these last year, but I think it was in August.

The CP Dinner PAckages are pre-paid. Your credit card is charged in advance. If you cancel before the deadline (think that was 48 hours, but again not sure), you will get your money back.

Best wishes -

Hi Bride,

Try this link, about halfway down the page...it seems to answer a lot of your questions. Last year booking started on September 2.

Kdtwiss,

It's the Candlelight Processional at Epcot in December.

That is the Candelight Processional dinner package - it includes a meal at the Epcot restaurants and a ticket to one of the 3 shows a night - I want to day that it was like the 2nd or 3rd of September that the packages came out but then there was a hurricane so they closed down phone lines for that emergency

What exactly do the different prices cover? Is there a certain meal that comes with the package?

Hi Bob,
I did check out the link but it does not say exactly how this works. It says dinner included but is there a set meal? Is there somewhere on this link that explains this that I am just not seeing? Thank you :sunny:

Hi Pluto,

I was under the impression it was a fixed price dinner but since I've never done it myself I'll defer to someone with experience who can answer your question!

We have done the CP dinner at Coral Reef and Garden Grill before. The GG was family style, so we received the set meal as everyone else. At Coral Reef we were given a special CP menu to chose from. I believe a couple different salads to start with, about 8 diffrent entrees to chose from and a couple of desserts. I must say I wasen't very impressed with the wait staff. I had heard the menu plan was the same at LeCeller.

We have done the CP both ways (2x w/package, 1x w/o) and recommend the dinner package. You don't stand in line as long (note I said 'as long') and you have a much better seat up front.

The front desk at your hotel will give you special CP badges with the show time on it. The CP package line starts on the left side of the American theater and the stand by line starts on the right. Dinner package guests are seated first up front first and then when all are seated they start seating the general line second. You have to have your badge on to get in the special line. Also it is important to allow time between your dinner and show time for walking travel and to get the best seat. I believe they do have a count of the number of dinner package sold for that show but I'm not sure if they hod seats for late comers.

If you have kids and like to be upclose I highly recommend the dinner package. If you have other questions, just ask.

We will be doing it again this year @ LeCellier the week after thanksgiving.

PS Don't be suprised the CP brings you to tears. It has that effect on many people the first time they see it.

I have a question for those that have done CP at Chefs de France. The last 3 years, we had the CP Pkg at the Norway restaurant...but his year, since it is now all Princess Character meals, have decided to change to France, which is on of our favorite lunch spots...

Is there a nice selection (I assume wine is not included) on the CP -France menu--or do you simply order off of the regular menu?
