Due to child care issues my sister will actually be flying in on our EPCOT day (Tuesday, December 10). She will be able to join me for CP but not four our breakfast reservation. I just realized that since she won't actually be at breakfast we will not get a ticket for her for CP seating. Should I just go ahead and cancel breakfast and just stand in line for the show? The only good news is that it's not one of the super popular narrators. Still, I was really looking forward to not wasting a ton of time standing in line. Suggestions?

You answered your own question. Wait in line and hope for the best.
Disney has a lot of meal options for CP dinning. I have no idea how many (how few) chairs are available for walk ups.

I was hoping the magical answer is that Disney will feel sorry for me and give me two CP tickets even though there is only one person at breakfast! :P:P

Maybe if you paid for 2 breakfasts and got one to go. I don't think that's the answer you're looking for.

Breakfast at Ale & Compass is now a buffet so that won't work. I think you are all correct that I'm just going to have to suck it up and stand in line for CP. Oh well, there are worst things in life and after all, I will still be in DW in December.

The menu on Disney's website is still showing the option of an a la carte breakfast. The CP might be for the buffet. I suspect if you showed up and asked for food to go for your sick sister, who is your room hoping to be better in time for the CP, They'll work something out. I don't think they'll let you go to the buffet and take all you want. I'm not even sure getting the CP pass is worth paying for a meal that probably won't be consumed.

Exactly. This is why I don't want to even change my reservation to a lunch or dinner package. The breakfast option at Ale & Compass was the least expensive way to go with the package. Our plan was to eat lunch/dinner from the food kiosks at WS so we are going to stick with that plan.

If you are not willing to make a dinner ADR your options are limited. I doubt Disney will feel sorry for you and give you an additional ticket, there are so many people who would want to have the gift, and where would the limit be?

You can either keep your ADR and be seated for the show and hope your sister can get in, cancel your ADR and all of you stand in the line, or try for a breakfast ADR on a different day and all of you go together. FWIW, I have viewed the show from outside the pavilion, and found it to be fine. I prefer to sit inside, but when I decide on a whim to hang around for it, I just stand outside.

What does your sister want you to do? If it were me, I'd tell you to keep your ADR and I'd watch from the back.
