Cp & cm

Our vacation is still a ways off - but I'm an overplanner. I wanted to get an idea of what ADRs I was going to shoot for. I have one breakfast slot and one dinner slot still open - and wanted to try Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's this time around. The character meals were a big hit with our DDs on our first WDW vacation - but we didn't make it to either of these places.

Those that have been to both - what which would you recommend for breakfast & which for dinner?

I have heard wonderful things about both restaurants for breakfast. That being said, we have not done either for breakfast. We have been to both for dinner. They were both wonderful. I was hesitant about going to both CM and CP for dinner. The breakfast reviews were all good while the dinner reviews for both were mixed. I was not disappointed with either of our meals. And, while I might try the breakfasts at both CM and CP on a future trip, I would not hesitate to do dinner again.

I don't think you can make a bad decision in this case! Happy eating!

My own personal preference would be CP for breakfast and CM for dinner. I really like the breakfasts at both, but like the breakfast at CP a little better. Also I find I like being in the park more for a breakfast rather than having to hustle to the park after a breakfast at one of the resorts. I happen to like the breakfasts better at both CP and CM than their dinners, but prefer the dinner at CM a little more.

I don't think you can go wrong either way, but I would choose CP breakfast & CM dinner. CP breakfast has puffed french toast!!

I Love all 3 meals at Cp ... but my favorite is Breakfast... they have a chef making omlets to order and the french toast is sooooo good. I love to make my ADR for first thing so I can get pics in front of the castle with no one else in them... We like chef Mickey for Dinner maybe we went on a bad day but the breakfast was not so good. But the kids have always had a good time with Mickey and the gang and thats to me is worth the $$ any day

I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner at CP.
Breakfast at CM. DD and I won't do CM anymore. We are not big fans. The characters are great, but we think the food is better other places...like CP. I know many would not agree with me either. They don't have fresh pineapple We have gone 3 times too so it's not that we hit it once at a bad time. All three times were early too so it's not like the food was left out too long either.

We all LOVE CP for breakfast. Dinner is good too.
Since I've only had the two breakfasts to compare...prehaps breakfast at CP And dinner at CM. I've never been daring enough to book a dinner lately at CM since DS is nearly 18 now

I would not do a late CP breakfast though. We did that once...like a 10:30 maybe...not a good time. Early or 9:30 10ish is better

I have had only dinner at those two and I can tell you tht I would not go back to CM for dinner again and I will definitly do CP again.

I've been to both for breakfast and could only choose one this time around - I decided to take my first-timer DBF to Chef Mickeys... I think the atmosphere is a little more lively - I wouldn't even compare food because you can't go wrong with either for breakfast!!
