CP CM Booking room on Hub

Help please.

My son, a CP is trying to book a room through the HUB for me to come down and visit for a few days. He seems to be able to get to that point but cannot find a way to add the dining plan.

Is the Dining Plan available for CPs/CMs booking a room only + dining?

Any ideas how to do that?

Not sure what the current bookings are offering, but I can tell you that for last Spring, we had to call and add it after securing the reservation.

It couldn't be done on the Hub.

I know that the dining discount is not offered all the time. I work at The Disney Store and we just went down using those discounts but the dining is usually only for Florida site cast only. I know the time frame was through March 31 I believe? It might just not be available for when he is wanting to book it. He could always cast cast booking phone number. He will see the number on the cast booking page on the Hub.

It's not possible to book the DDP online for CM reservations. It must be done over the phone. On the Hub it lists the Cast Reservation phone line. Tell him to call it. They may not have the DDP up yet for your dates. When are you visiting him? They release DDP offers about two-three months in advance. I know the dates for April-June only were released yesterday.

Thank you. He is a CP at WDW. So if I am understanding, he should book the Hotel reservation on the HUB and then call the Cast Reservation number to try for the dining plan.

Actually, it would be easier to do everything over the phone in this instance! Tell him to go to the Room Discount Page and click on the special offer with the word "Spring" in it. The phone number is in there as well as the DDP details. He should do this ASAP, as in today if possible, because this tends to fill up. There's also a chance he can get the room 60% off instead of 50%. Good luck!

A Big Thank You!

Your advice was perfect. DS Did make the entire reservation directly through cast reservation and it was cheaper than the hub 60% vs 50%. Then it was suggested one moderate was much cheaper than the other moderate. Bonus savings. DP set. Now just have to explore online a resort I've never stayed at. Fun! Fun!
