CP breakfast-early or late?

I've heard opposite opinions. Last time, we did an 8:05 PS, on non-emh day. Everything was great, but we felt rushed. Our server did not rush us, but we wanted to be out touring by 9:00. Between waiting to be seated (we were at gates way before 8;00, were one of first groups to get to the restaraunt, but still waited 5-10 min), character pics and autographs, and parading around, DD barely had time to eat. We'd be less rushed at a 10:25 PS on EMH day, as we'd have a couple of prime touring hours behind us. For those who have had late seatings, is the food still plentiful and fresh? I've heard they close down one line for lunch food items, which is fine. I just don't want to get only leftover, dried-out bits and crumbs at 10:25. The food was so great at 8:00!

I actually have adr's for both times, and will just cancel the one we don't use, but am trying to gather as many opinions and experiences as possible.

We had 8:15 ressies at CP and we didn't feel rushed at all. We left CP at 9am to go ride Splash Mountain - which we got righton without a wait! (this was in early December so the crowds were much lighter!)
