I have a large party - 18 people. I haven't spoke to everyone to find out if they want the CP package or not (it would be next to impossible to get everyone to answer an email for some reason!) - so I was guessing. And my guess was pretty good. I'm pretty sure that 8 of us would want the CP package - so I wanted to book 8 for CP and 10 for non-CP.
I asked a CM last week and they said this would be no problem on Monday. Well - it's a problem. They are ONLY booking CP packages during the CP timeframes.
2 weeks ago, I booked our Biergarten for 6:20pm for 18 people. This morning I booked 8 people for Biergarten for 5:30 for CP packagge - they wouldn't give me the 10 people at 5:30 for non-CP - so I jumped and booked the 10 for CP package at 5:30 too.
SO - now I'm sitting with both - 18 people on CP pkg at 5:30 and 18 people with a regular ADR at 6:20. I need to cancel one of these before they discover them and cancel one or both for me. (The CM on the phone did not notice the previous 6:20 ADR at all).
A good portion of our group is NOT going to be on the dining plan - so the price difference will matter to them. And I'm really guessing at who will want to see the CP. I really wanted my in-laws to have a reserved seat for CP - I have little ones, so I could go either way with it.
I'm thinking of trying to change the CP for the latest CP possible - see if it will line up close to 6:20! But I can't get through right now.
Anyone else have any suggestions for me? Which would you do? I'm thinking keep the 6:20pm regular ADR and anyone that wants to see the CP will just have to hope to get in - or plan to see it earlier in the day..
