CP at San Angel Inn?

I have a PS for San Angel Inn with the CP package. I am confused and upset by what I have been reading on the post about the choice of food and the treatment of the customer. When I made my reservation I don't remember anything being mentioned about a limited menu and being treated to second class service. Has anyone experience San Angel Inn this year with CP reservation?

We were there on 12/10... didn't have any problems at all. I thought the wait was a bit long but it seemed like they were pretty busy around 5:30PM. We could pretty much order anything on the menu. The waiter never rushed us and was very pleasant The only thing we didn't get a choice on was the dessert. They said all they had for the CP diners was a flan -- it was more of a custard like square with light caramel sauce. I always thought a flan was something with a flaky crust... in any case, it was pretty tasty If you have any questions, let me know.

Thank you for calming my fears. I am looking forward to a wonderful experience for my family. The desserts are somewhat limited anyway at San Angel. Are soft drinks included?

Did the CP dinner package at San Angel Inn on 12/7. The wait was only about 8 minutes for our 5:45 seating and we were there at 5:30. The staff was great. I didn't recognize anything different than if I had paid there. Like the previous poster, the only limited item was the dessert. Soft drinks were included. All we had to do was show our paper to the waiter, eat, and then get up and leave. I wish we could prepay more dinners. It would be so much easier. You wouldn't have to wait on a check and figure up a tip!!! Don't worry, you will have a great time!!

Thanks! I hate waiting on the check. When I am ready to leave I want to go........ back to all the fun (even though eating at WDW is definitely part of the fun).

I like prepaying the for the meal. It seems like it's free since the funds for the meal were deducted many months ago.

Thank you - We are so excited about going to WDW for the holidays. We have been there so many times and even own at BCV but we have never been there at Christmas. And after watching the Travel Channel last week, seeing all the decorations - wow- can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

A choice of soft drinks or coffee or tea was included. Don't worry, I think you'll have a great time there I loved the atmosphere ... the lighting is really great!

I also liked prepaying as well ... It's nice to spread out the cost of the trip instead of ending up with a big bill at the end. Especially when it's so close to Christmas.

Just came back from Epcot we ate there on December 17 and we wore all so excited because we all LOVE Mexican food…. Our reviews?... Very disappointed. The water was fine, but he unlike so many others we meat during our stay seemed like he didn’t even want to be there, and the food left a lot to be desired in my opinion
