Cozumel - How Late Are Shops Open?

We recently booked the 10/11 Western and are now looking into the ports we will be visiting. We will definitely be doing the Tulum Ruins excursion while in Cozumel but would like to do some shopping there as well. My question is this...how late do the shops stay open in Cozumel. We would like to have dinner on board the Magic and then go shopping but don't know if this will be possible.

We had early seating for dinner and my SIL went shopping afterwards. I think the shops started closing around 9:00 p.m.
