We are traveling on our 1st Dis cruise this summer with our 4 and 6yr olds. We are looking for a CLEAN, SAFE, FUN, and RELAXING way to spend the day in Cozumel. It seems like there are a few great beach club options, but I can't sen to decide which would be the best for our family. While I'm sure DH and I will enjoy a drink or two, we have the little ones with us, so I can't imagine we'll take full advantage of an open bar. As for activities, a clean beach, nice pool with maybe a slide and some available toys for the kids to play with would be great. It looks like Chankanaab has some additional (seal lions, gators, etc) that we'd probably love, but I can't seem to find as much info on that location as I can on the other clubs.
I would appreciate all feedback - positive and negative!
TIA!!

If you don't need an open bar, think about Paradise Beach. It's about a $15 cab ride from the cruise pier and it has a nice beach area with lots of loungers in the shade. It also has a super clean pool and bathrooms. I think it costs like $5 a person-- there is an extra charge if you want to use the water toys (SUP, kayaks, inflatables in the water, etc), but I imagine with small kids you'll just need some sand, shade and a pool.

Glad you asked this I have been contemplating the choices too, have read various reports on Trip Adviser and am now really confused will read with interest what others reccommend.

we went to playa mia earlier this month with our 4 & 5 yr old. it was very clean! would recommend it. they had a nice pool/splash pad for the kids. the beach was dirty (lots of seaweed) so they couldn't swim in the ocean or play in the sand but the pool/water area and playground kept them very busy. we did this excursion through disney but if you're not gonna take advantage of the open bar i recommend doing it on your own. Also, if you do playa mia on your own you're not wasting time. Meeting our party and boarding the bus took almost 2 hrs! the buffet that's included in the price is not very good either. we'll definitely go back again but this time we'll do it on our own (we don't really drink) and then we have the option of dining a la carte (menu looks very good) and would save time.

We've gone to Nachi Cocum twice and just love how quiet & uncrowded it is. After being in the crowds of the ship, it was nice to have some space. (They limit entry to 100 people a day.) It has a nice pool & the beach was great when we were there. Everything is clean & the staff is very helpful.

Our kids when we went were as young as 6 and as old as 11. The second time we rented a paddle board & a jet ski for awhile.
