Looking for a recommendation for an all inclusive Beach day. Just my husband and I, our first cruise without the kids. We've done Nachi Cocum and wondering if there's anything else that we should try. Looking for Good food, Drinks, beach and pool.

We enjoyed Playa Mia as a family with two kids last summer. I’ve heard that Nachi Cocum is good for adults because it’s a little more laid back but since you’ve already been there you could try Playa Mia for something new.

Have done both Playa Mia and Nochi Cocum and for two adults without kids I would definitely recommend Nochi Cocum. Beautiful beach with great food and drinks! They also have a pool with swim up bar.

If you’re looking for an upscale low-crowd beach day on Cozumel, is Nochi Cocum “the place”? Or is there another place more hoity-toity?

I have kids 10, 13 & 18 at time of sailing. Playa Mia looks fun for the kids (at least, the younger two), but Nochi Cocum looks more relaxing. Wondering if there is an AI location that finds a happy medium?

I don’t know that Nachi is “The Place” but it is pretty quiet and relaxing. Younger ones may get bored since it is pretty much pool, beach, food. But for just adults it would be a nice beach break.

My kids will be 9 and 12 on my next cruise and I’m looking at Playa Mia as well.

I know they don’t sail DCL, but Matt @ RoyalCaribbeanBlog seems to visit Cozumel a lot and also seems to try different resorts each time. If you don’t mind the partisan nature of the blog there’s good information for you there.

I have been to Nachi in 2016 and Mr. Sancho's in 2012 or 2013 (can't remember). Had very positive experiences at both. May have slightly preferred Mr. Sancho's.

We love Mr. Sanchos with and without children. We are not big buffet fans, so being able to order off of a menu is important to us. The guacamole, coconut shrimp, and frozen drinks are amazing...as is the service! We always end up tipping a ton because it's so amazing!

We've done Playa Mia. I think it's nice for kids because of the splash pad and slides. As adults, it wasn't really our thing. We've never done Nachi, and haven't had much interest since we all love Mr. Sanchos so much!

Thanks!!! I'm thinking that we should try Mr Sanchos just for something different. Do they have umbrellas available by the loungers? There are so many resorts with day passes but it seems like Mr Sanhos and Nachi are the ones with the most reviews.

Mr. Sanchos has those inflatable slides, trampolines and other stuff tethered out in the ocean, but not, like, true water slides as Playa Mia does. Is that correct?

They have tables with umbrellas assigned to you. The loungers themselves are not shaded. We usually just enjoy the tables!

Correct and they cost extra. Our children are not quite old enough for them yet, but it's coming soon...

My brother’s older girl was 7 when she tried them last year. She gassed out just swimming out to the inflatables. Still played on them but didn’t enjoy it as much. :(

Do you mean “politically” partisan, or “anti-DCL” partisan?

If the latter, yeah, the blog/podcast kind of bums me out in that regard.

The latter. Although he’s more pro-RCI than anti-DCL, if that makes sense.

Yeah, that is probably a more accurate way to put it. I wish he’d do a DCL podcast, or that he, Scopa and Newell would take back over “WDW Today”. That new crew is ... not my favorite.

Thanks again, the blog is extremely helpful. I was able to read some of the reviews and found what I was looking for.

For those who did Playa Mia AI, did you include the transportation in your package? If so, is it simply tour bus transportation there and back with 100 of your best friends?

Another way of putting it - was it a good deal for $13 round-trip, or is it worth spending a little more for a personal cab there and back?
