Cow's Ear or Pig's Ear: What's the diff?

Yes, I know one type of ear come from a cow and the other from a pig.

What I want to know is why my dog loves to chew cow's ears, but will only hide pig ears.

I got him a cow's ear yesterday, and it's gone already. He chomped it until there was nothing left.

Yet, he's still burying and unburying the same three pig's ears he's had for months.

I guess cow ears taste better.

My baby Nicki loves those pig ears. She devours them. I have to close my eyes when I reach in the bag to get one. Ooh,yuck, they gross me out.

My Mom's dogs love the Pig ears. Don't know if they have tried the Cow ears or not.

It's annoying that Max does this because pig's ears are so much cheaper and easier to find in stores than cow's ears.

Cow's ears I've found only in pet supply stores. Not only do supermarkets and Target carry pig's ears, but I could buy a big bag of pig ears at Costco. (That is, if my dog chewed them instead of burying them in the backyard or my laundry basket.)

Speaking of which, Costco had an awesome Christmas stocking for dogs last year. It cost around $20 and was a huge bargain. It had about 12 items in it, and I'd say any two or three of them cost $20 if you bought them separately elsewhere.

I saw the first signs of Christmas at Costco this weekend. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for those stockings.

I really hope they sell them again this year; I'm going to buy 2 or 3. That's how much good stuff was in them.
