cowboy cookout??

Just been looking at the character meals page of the new brochure. For both the tea party at cowboy cookout and the character lunch there it has n/a for dates after 7th November instead of a price. There is no alternative listed for either Does anyone know what is going on. Surely they wouldn't just cancel a character meal and not replace it?

Also cowboy cookout is listed in the half board meal plans page but if you look at the small print is says ' only until 7th November'

Don't know the answer to this one. We did the tea party in 2010 and it was at the Luckey Nugget; then last year it moved to the Cowboy Cookout. Wondering whether the meal and tea party are just changing venues???

Sorry to hijack this thread but are the characters available on both the lunch and dinner ? And does anyone know when your more likely to see Woody ? My daughter loves Toy Story.

No, I don't know either. I remember when it changed location last time they put both locations in the brochure. I hope it is just changing in some way, I would imagine that if they are just cancelling it cafe mickey will be even more mad than it is now!

There is only a character set lunch at cowboy cookout and a character tea party (buffet of sweets and cakes).

We did both the lunch and the tea party last year and never saw Woody there. But I've read lots of reports where people have seen him there.

Maybe go into Town Hall on Main Street in the Park and they will be able to tell you when and if Woody is doing any meet and greets???

It is lunch or a tea party with pastries and cakes. There are characters at both and we saw woody there when we did the lunch but there are no guarantees I'm afraid.

Yes I agree - it would be daft to cancel it; as the character meals are always so busy. I hope they aren't cancelling it in the foreseeable as I love the tea party and I enjoyed the meal there last year.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I had thought of using the money saved on the new offer towards this meal but noticed it wasn't an option after Nov 7th. After all the good reviews lately I'm disappointed. We'll have to wait & see I guess...

Hmm does sound odd as if they had another venue lined up they would probably have printed it. I'm not sure what meals we will do in November but I'm sure a character one somewhere will feature .

Was planning on going to Cowboy cook out in November as well but didn't get the option when we were booking

It was on my list too! Hopefully they will move it to another restaurant than getting rid of it completely.
