What are some covid, no fast pass tips for getting the most of your day at each park? Those that have been this year, please share some tips for rope drop, what rides are especially hard to get on, etc. Let us know how you managed or if you found some tips that work! Planning for 9 of us in May.

Nothing has been hard to get I’ve been 4 times since COVID. Rise of the Resistance is what it is. Just please be aware you are in a theme park and people will be people so don’t have a mindset where people are going to not come anywhere near you within 6 feet at any point of you being there. If you think like than you’re only setting yourself up

PS- .just know all of your pictures are going to have this crappy mask in them.

Hello, I’ll be happy to share some tips. We went a month ago, and it certainly is a different experience right now. But really, most of it is in a good way, as good as can be with covid anyway.

first tip I’d give is to follow a couple different threads. The Here Now & Just Back has info from people currently in the parks, so they’re the first to report changes in operations that will affect some of the tips.

if you’re wanting to ride the new Riseof the Resistance Star Wars ride, you should also follow the Read Post 1 & 2 First-Rise of the Resistance boarding group planning and information. This is a no spoilers groupthat helps keep you up to date on any changes to getting a boarding group

other tips include:
1. be early. I can’t stress this enough. Parks open 45-60 minutes before listed opening time. This can change daily and you’ll find out in the thread above when they do things differently.

2. ride wait times rarely get over an hour, right now, so with a little patience, you can ride nearly every ride you want in each park. But this is also where arriving early helps. Wait times first thing are short. We rode 5 rides at HS in the first 2 hours and that includes MMRR, SDD and RotR.

3. With no shows in most parks, you might think what else can I do. I say, explore. Look for something you’ve never done before. Try not to think about what you can’t do and think about what you can do.

4. Get your ADRs as soon as possible. Some Restaurants are filling up before the 60+ day booking window, especially at Hollywood Studios. With few options, all the restaurants are going quick.

that’s all I have for now, but I’ll let you know if Ithink of others. Happy planning!

These are such great tips! I like to look for something we haven't done and not to think of what you can't do (don't expect it to be the usual Disney, but at least you're at Disney).
How are restaurants filling before the 60+ booking window? That is confusing to me!

On-site guests still get to book for length of stay 60 days from their check-in day, so if you don't stay on-site, you're at a disadvantage. It's usually not a big deal, but I've noticed the biggest issue is at Hollywood Studios. If you plan to do an ADR there and you're staying on-site, it's better to do that park a few days into your trip rather than first or second as that will give more options.

Really? That's great news! I'd read it's hard to find food, long lines, at capacity, etc. So thank you for sharing!
Yes, I did forget about the walk up wait list for table service meals. This is something you’ll still want to be early on doing. Definitely don’t wait until meal time to sign up for a wait list. A few places you can get in just fine, but looking now, the majority of walk up wait lists are full. I saw a few inside the parks and several outside the parks that you can still sign up for though, so as long as you’re flexible, it’ll work.

as for quick service, it’s a good idea to put your order in ahead of time with mobile order, so you get the time slot you want to eat at. Some places may have an hour plus wait if you don’t order until you’re ready to eat.
