I am a Disneyland APer that is now heading to WDW to fulfill my Disney needs. We are coming in for 5 nights right before Thanksgiving.
Does anyone on here know if they clean ALL the bedding between guests now. I know before COVID, a lot of hotels would not clean the duvets and comforters, just the sheets. I am concerned that Disney may not clean all the bedding between guests. I emailed Disney about this, but after 2 weeks have still not received a reply.
If anyone knows the answer to this, I would greatly appreciate it.

The WDW resorts do not have duvets or comforters. They use double sheets with blankets between - so yes, all bedding is fresh when you check in. The only item that possibly might not be laundered is the decorative runner at the bottom of the bed. I think those are slowly leaving the decor, though.

Thank you. That is very reassuring to know.

In most cases, if not all, the decorative runner has been or is being removed from all beds. They use the decorative "top sheet" instead. It has a pattern on it that is related to the resort. They have also pretty much gotten rid of all the decorative pillows and just use the sleeping pillows.

We have been at the poly and BWV in the last few months. No decorative pillows at either.

I used to use the extra throw cushions to “stuff” the sides of the fold out sleeper sofa. I was just at the BLT Halloween night and didn’t have enough since they no longer have extras. I’m always worried about the metal frame and tiny arms and legs, etc...
I always completely strip the bed when I leave so the next guest has new everything. And wow are those resort mattresses heavy...
That’s when I remember all those “discussions” about leaving a thank you for housekeeping; Especially on holidays.

Does anybody know if the Recycle/Trash Maintenance Rooms are still a part of DVC? I can not stand the smell of any food container overnight in the room. And hate them on the hallway floor... I have been on ground floors for the past 3 stays so did not see that maintenance room.
And I think I must have really angered somebody to have a notation on my name history: Do not give this person a nice room.

Back on topic: Don’t forget you can ask for clean sheets but you have to make your own bed , I think.

We are next door to one of the trash/recycling rooms at BLT. I will check the handle in the morning if nobody reports back before then. :D

There is a trash / recycling room on each floor towards the middle of the BLT building.
