Cover Songs/Remakes

Do you like remakes or cover songs? If you don which ones Current favorite: SR-71's version of "Let It Whip"

OK, I don't really know what you mean by the difference between cover songs and remakes. So, clue me in if I'm way off base. What i'm thinking, is that I know original songs, and then I hear them remade in a newer mode. So, sometimes I hear songs on the radio, and I start singing them, and my teenage kids don't know how I know them.

Let It Whip is from the '80s and the verions by SR-71 is also on the soundtrack for the New Guy

I think it was around 1982...

I love love love the Me First & the Gimmie Gimmies cover of that "I'm so in love with you honey" song.

I love Less Than Jake's cover of "Jenny (867-5309)." Almost anything by Me First & the Gimme Gimmes is good, but I have a soft spot in my heart for their covers of "Rainbow Connection" and "Rocketman."

I hate, hate, hate the Ataris' cover of "Boys of Summer." It's technically good, but it's just...missing something. Also, Riddlin' Kids' cover of "It's the end of the world as we know it" is awful.
