I have a dentist appointment this evening. So, please cover me in pixie dust! It's funny. I wasn't scared about going to the dentist for most of my life, but something's changed. During the past couple of years, my dental anxiety has grown a little with each appointment.
I am nervous about tonight.
My appointment is for a cleaning, but I have a tooth that's been sensitive for a couple of weeks and I'm worried about it. Also, even though I floss every day (and I mean, every day at least once/day), I get this lecture about gum disease every time I get my teeth cleaned and he tells me to floss.
So, between the bothersome tooth and the gum disease lecture I'm probably about to hear again, my worry-level is increasing as the time of my appointment approaches.
I'm going to get dinner on my way home from the dentist as I want my teeth to to as clean as possible when I go to the appointment. I can't wait for it to be finished. I don't like going to the dentist.
