Is this free or do you have to pay for the gourmet coffees and snacks...

You have to pay for them, but I must say that it is well worth it. the frozen cappicino was awsome!

And much cheaper than Starbuck's. Plus, the biscotti are really, really good (free with your coffee)!

Me and DH visited the Cove Cafe every afternoon and I believe the frozen coffee was $2.50 and it was really big and came with a biscotti or cookie. We loved it in there.

Ditto!! The Cove Cafe became a daily stop for DH and I. I have some pictures of the Cove Cafe and of our iced and frozen coffee drinks. Click on the link below, in my signature, then scroll down just a bit to the links for our Disney Cruise, and you'll see a link for the Cove Cafe. Enjoy!! :)

We loved the cove cafe. A little secret, the coffee is made via the expresso machine, cheaper than a latte or capaccino(sp?) but just as potent. :smooth:

Popular place for DH and I on our cruise a few weeks ago. Atmosphere is great too.

I loved the Cove Cafe to just sit there and watch the CNN news on Hurricane Frances. I had an iced cappucino and no one gave me a biscotti! That's it, I am putting in a complaint to DCL. I want a cruise refund - hahaha! Anyway, that coffee house is a great addition!!

I plan on spending a fair amount of time here, and so do I need to save up for sweet treats to go with my froo-froo coffee drinks? :D

Do they have breakfast muffins, pastry's or croissants to go with your coffee? In the afternoon or evening do they have desserts? I was so excited to here about the cove cafe I can't live without Starbucks I'm addicted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even better Baileys and coffee or a Bailey's shake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :earsgirl: :earsboy: pirate: princess:

Yes. They do usually have cookies, croissants, muffins and some other items there at the Cove Cafe when they are open. Do note their hours in the Navigator. They are not open all the time as there only 2 crew members that work there I believe.

How do you know what places you pay for and what places you don't? I know the dining rooms are included in the price (except for drinks and, of course, Palo), but what about Pluto's Dog House, etc.?

Pluto's Dog house, Pinocchio's pizzeria, outlook bar (serves wings and pannini sandwiches on sea day) and scoops serve food/dessert at no charge. The only food that is chargeable is Palo's and the candy station by the theatre. Diversions serves nacho's during the day with all the cheese and guacomole toppings. Room service is also free.

I quick question. Is there a Cove Cafe on the Wonder. On our last trip which was June 04, I don't remember seeing it. Did I miss it or was this added as part of the upgrade to the Wonder?

I think I read on another thread that it is being added when it goes into Dry Dock. ?? Which I thought was this month but I could be wrong.

Yes, you can order cordials and drinks at the Cove Cafe also. They also have about 4 or so internet stations there too, some magazines and a big screen TV. They also had some headphones with some music but it was all disney music. That I can do without. Don't get me wrong I love it playing in the halls and stuff but once I am in an 18 or older area I don't want to listen to Disney songs. It is a great place to hang out for a bit. Very relaxing atmosphere!

If you ask the cast member she will give you a list of all the music that is available. There were 75 different CD's. The first 10 were all Disney music and the rest were a wide mix of other Artists. There actually was a pretty fair selection.
