Cove cafe

The desserts in the Cove Cafe are probably my most favorite secret indigence on a Disney cruise. I love heading in there around 2:30 or 3 and picking up a treat (or two). It wasn't until my 3rd cruise that I even knew they had desserts, much less that they were included in the cost of the trip!
Late evening on most cruises you get cheese there as well. But not all cruises.

Yummmm, thankyou Disney Fantasy for the pictures. I will definitely go now, l just felt guilty for not buying a drink to go with them.

We usually start with one of each (one of the adults will go get them to share with DD), then we decide on our favorites and someone goes back and get seconds of those. ;) They are the perfect little afternoon indulgence.

Other than Remy, their desserts were about the only ones I would eat. I just didn't like most of the stuff at the buffet or MDR. It was just kind of bland and flavorless, kind of like the desserts at the Wishes party. Wow! How does Disney make dessert bland and flavorless, especially when I love tapioca and rice puddings:scratchin I can already see the weight gain for my cruise next summer:sad2:

Agreed! I've had very few desserts from Disney that I really liked. They are overly sweet with no other redeeming flavors. The Palo chocolate souffle is a notable exception and then some of the Cove desserts. There's a really good brownie thing and the little tarts with fruits on them are yummy.

I've had the same experience. I feel like a kid but I always prefer the ice cream sundae over any of their "special" desserts.

Most of the same offerings are available at the Vista Café on Deck 4 of the Fantasy and the Dream. The big plus is that children are allowed in this area. The seating is not quite as tranquil as the Cove Café however it is a great spot to sit and people watch especially if you do want to have the young ones with you. Lots of seating.

Really? This is great news, I'd love to go with my daughter to pick out treats. But I swear I don't even remember the Vista Cafe from our trip 3 years ago. Where is it? We clearly need to explore more this time!

Yes! I thought the Cove Cafe desserts were the best on the ship and we went to Palo brunch. The Chocolate fudge cupcakes are delish, the vanilla ones were bland IMO though.

Deck 4, mid ship, across from Shutters and just down from the OBB desk. Enjoy!
