Cousin Katie's going to become a mother

today, but we're all worried for her, because they're inducing her five weeks before her due date (blood pressure has been skyrocketing-mommy's, not baby's!). I know this isn't immensely early in terms of preemie's, but we're still all nervous, none the less. You shouldn't play favorites, but she's my "pet" cousin, ten years younger than me, and more like a little sister than a cousin. Prayer and positive preemie stories much appreciated!

My niece and nephew were both preemies.... one 5 weeks and one 6 weeks...... they both had monitors for a while but no big problems..... now they are 11 and 8!!

My daughter was delivered at 28 weeks. 3 lbs. 2 ounces. She was healthy but small. She was in NICU for 27 days. She's still a bit petite for her age (8 1/2), but very active and she has no problems. (Well, other than the routine bouncing off the walls, and usual stubborness for a girl that age. lol) People still stop me to tell me how beautiful she is. Prayers and Pixie dust to your cousin!

She was supposed to get her first fun shot at 8 a.m., so she should have had plenty of time to do "something" by now (ha!). We jokingly told her mom to take her laptop with her into the delivery room so we could all have a play by play!
