Courtyards

We have booked a room at the Port Orleans-French Quarter during early June. We specifically asked for no parking lot, something near a garden or courtyard. I was just wondering, are courtyards usually gathering places for groups? And do they get noisy (at night more specifically). Thank you!

I can't picture any of the court yards in POFQ being that noisy. There are some at CBR that can get a little noisy, I know, we were the cause last time we were there. Our family had a great time but....
At CBR some had a couple of tables and a patio area. The court yards are not set up the same way at POFQ.
