Just found the Mousesavers deal that I could get a room for $89 with a full hot breakfast and then a $25 credit for each night of stay.

#1- Is this a nice place to stay?

#2- Is the location good for getting to Convention center and Wide World of
Sports?

#3- What can I use the $25 credit for?

#4- Any restrictions on when and how I use it? Like could I use all $125 at
one time (I have 5 nights)

#5- Would you suggest someplace else in line with this place for the same $?

I am heading out to watch DD play volleyball and will be by myself unless another day decides to join me.

Thanks for you help,
YO

1) Very nice property, with access to all the amenities of the other 2 Marriott properties on site.

2.) Yes for both. For the convention center, you can hop on I-4 eastbound to the next exit (SR 528/Beachline Expwy), or you can take Int'l Drive. For Wide World of Sports you can do the same, heading westbound on I-4 instead.

3 & 4) Not sure.

5.) No. Courtyards normally are our favorites in that range of hotels.

Hello,

We just got back from a 4 night stay at the Fairfield Inn (one of the three hotels in the Marriott Village).

#1: We stayed in a family suite (2 adults, DD7, and DS5). Decent room; clean and comfortable. It wasn't as big as we would have liked, but it was decent with two LCD flatpanel TVs.

#2: Not sure about the convention center, but the Marriott Village just off I-4, so I'd imagine it wouldn't be difficult. Wide World of Sports is maybe a 10 or 15 minute drive.

#3: The $25 per night credit can be used for the shops at the Marriott Village. There's a food court located between the Courtyard and the Fairfield which has a Pizza Hut, a sandwich/burger place, Ice Cream shop, and a Starbucks. In the Courtyard, there's also a gift shop. The $25 per night credit can be used at those places, as well as the restaurant in the Courtyard.

#4: You can use all $125 at one time, or spread it over the length of your stay. For example, we spent around $40 on one day (pizza, Starbucks, a couple bags of chips, ice cream and sodas). The next day we spent about $12, etc. At the end of our trip, our total expenditures was around $80. All of it was covered by our $100 credit (for 4 nights).

#5: I was seriously considering the Buena Vista Suites, or the Caribe Royale. BVS was running around $89 a night with a full breakfast buffet, and are true 1 bedroom suites. Caribe Royale was running about $100 a night and looks to have a really nice pool.

Hi. Just got back from the Courtyard Village. Used the Mousesavers.com rate at $99 (back in April). Had the two free breakfasts, ohhhhh those comfy queen beds, $25 credit which we used at the lobby bar, and the kids had ice cream, candy, you name it. Ok, so we spent more, but isn't that how it always happens (great marketing)!! But it sure helped out a little. Had four coupons for free fountain drinks. Rec'd a coupon for 20% off next stay at a Marriott in Orlando area. Not sure if this was because of our Marriott Rewards membership. We also rec'd an upgraded room w/balcony overlooking the Courtyard pool--really beautiful. And, free parking unlike Hilton.

Would stay again in a heartbeat.:goodvibes:goodvibes

What's the breakfast like? And if we have to pay for our DDs (who are over 10), how much would it be? Would the $25 certificate cover it?

Breakfast was everything you could imagine!! I had a cooked to order omlet with fresh fruit. Husband has similar. Kids (ages 17 & 13) had the buffet. You can also order a la carte. I think we paid $8.95 for a la carte, and regular buffet $12?? It truly is a lot of food so a la carte was sufficient. Coffee is real!!

Had fun!:goodvibes

I want to add one night stay to our DVC vacation (because the price of airfare is a better deal if we fly out the day before). This place looks perfect...what are the transportation options/costs from the airport (MCO)?

The hotel is nice, we stayed there for two nights. The breaksfast was good. I can not advise about the credit as it was not offered when we went.

Thanks for the info.

Adventurer you answered my next question about using it in the lounge :thumbsup2 .

Now do you sign it off to your room and it adds up or do you use it as you go somehow?

Thanks, YO

Hi Coachyo! We actually put it on the room to keep track. We did learn, however, that you do not earn Marriott points on incidentals at Courtyard brand and below. Only on regular Marriott brands and above. When my daughter plays soccer in Needham, MA we always put our incidentals on the room and earn points as we discuss the games at length at the bar!!

Have fun!!:goodvibes:goodvibes

I figure to have a few conversations about all the volleyball games I'll be watching so glad to know I can use that credit to get my game frustrations or celebrations going. :thumbsup2
