After spending 5 nights in Anaheim, we'll be heading to San Diego for the final 3 nights of our vacation. We'll be visiting Legoland and Sea World before departing from the San Diego Airport. Would you recommend the new Courtyard Marriott in Hotel Circle or the Double Tree by Hilton (on Hazard Drive, Mission Valley)? We're a family of 6 with kids aged 2 and 5 and grandparents as well. Thanks!

We have stayed at both these hotels, and out of the two, I would go with the Courtyard. It is very new and fresh inside and we had no problems at all. That being said, we just had a one night stay in San Diego, and stayed at the Best Western Plus Island Palms on Shelter Island. It was like a little retreat right there in the City (something we have never felt on our other 4 trips). We will never stay anywhere else again. Plus there is no 16 dollar parking fee.

We stayed at the Courtyard in September for 4 nights when we were visiting Sea World... LOVE THAT HOTEL! We probably wont ever stay at a different hotel in San Diego after that stay. Actually, we just booked our 4 nights for this coming September last night. they just refurbished it all and it's very nice & clean.
