Hi there. I am staying at the Courtyard Inn on South Harbour in May. Has anyone stayed there? I know they do not have a free bfast, but I need to be walking distance to the Convention Centre and will be visiting the Parks in the afternoon/evenings. Any help or thought is appreciated.

I stayed there for 2 nights a couple years ago and I was very happy with it. It is off the street behind a restaurant so there was no street noise. I went in October so it wasn't really busy. The room was very nice and large.

I will be staying there again when I come out in July.

Is there a reasonable restaurant for lunch nearby? I think a Dennys is within walking distance. Anything else? My mom will be on her own for breakfast and lunches but there doesn't seem to be much around without taking a shuttle? Also, what about a city tour of Hollywood homes, etc.
Thoughts?

Hi there :) I was able to find this as for a listing of local restaurants :

As someone who works for Marriott - always feel free to call the hotel directly or stop by the front desk , they usually have great recommendations for the local area and attractions. I've stayed in the area at the Anaheim Marriott connected to the Convention Center and there are lots of dining options close by. Hope this helps some ! :thumbsup2

I've stayed here once about 4 years ago, very clean and helpful friendly staff. There is a in house restaurant that serves breakfast not sure if they do lunch or dinner. *There are some restaurant in the area Ruth's Chris & Buca Di Beppio that are kind of close.*I would stay her again for sure!

We stayed there 2 years ago, for a week. It's a fantastic hotel! Nice and new(er), the rooms are nice and big, the restaurant is great. Since our trips revolve around Disneyland, I don't know if we would stay there again (unless we got it for super cheap again... think we got it for around $60/night), simply because you either have to catch a shuttle, or walk the 20 minutes. However, I would recommend it if you either don't mind the long walk, or don't mind paying for the shuttle. Also, we hit Denny's every morning, which is on the other side of the road, about a 3 minute walk.

I stayed there last year for a convention. It was very comfortable and the room was awesome (always clean when we arrived back later in the evening). Elevators were never crowded and always quick to arrive (there are few hotels that can get this compliment). My only problem was that the insight dining was a little pricey, but this is expected of hotel food fare and cheaper places were within walking distance. Also, very beautiful lobby area :)

We stayed there New Years 2011. The hotel was nice and clean and the price was great. We had a free AAA parking pass and parked in Toy Story (accross the street) and took the shuttle. You can walk to the Toy Story parking (we had my dad which could not make the walk) or walk to the Marriott next door and get the ART shuttle.
