Okay..I've found great prices for both and need to book a reservation. Which would you choose? I am interested in ease of transportation to parks and cleanliness. How long does it take to get from the hotels off site to the parks? How about places to eat/food court etc. Thanks for any help!

We stayed at Courtyard DTD 8/2000. We were on 12th & 13th floors of main tower (a/c problem which is a story in itself) and then moved to a wing room. To be honest, although the tower was pretty, I preferred the wing room. It was quiet and comfy. Cleaned well. Nice staff.

My son ordered Pizza Hut pizza from there once or twice. (don't know if they still have - anyone?).

Bus service was so-so at the time. It was great until I had the chance to compare to Swan on this trip. I almost think they may have split so that all of the hotels are not covered by one bus anymore? Not sure - you might want to check. When we went we were the 2nd pick-up and then you had to stop at ALL of the other hotels. Took quite awhile.

But the hotel is very good overall. Room size- average.

i would definitely vote for the courtyard...it's so convenient to downtown disney!! i love that area and that hotel...i stayed there back in 1998 or 1999...can't remember! but i was very impressed with the hotel...

We will be going to WDW in November 2003. Cant decide where to stay but am considering Caribe. For 4 adults is there enough space? How are the utensils and pots/pans in the room? Is there only 1 entrance to the bathroom through the master suite?
Please help!!!:wave:

Here is my report card for the Courtyard Marriott.

Guest Service-- A++
Friendliness-- A++
Cleanliness-- A+
Amenities-- A (we didn't eat in the full service restaurant or swim, but the pools were sparkling, as was the hot tub, and the playground)
Convenience-- A+
Decor-- A- (they are getting ready to rehab the rooms, but believe me, there was NOTHING wrong with those rooms!)

For the money, you won't find anything better. Oh, and the Manager's Party in the afternoons from 4-6 is a very nice added bonus, too!
