Courtyard by Marriott, DD

I'll be staying here my next trip. Does anyone know if it's REALLY in walking distance to DD- what is the length of walk, are there sidewalks and street lamps? I'd love to use DD as my transport hub coming home at night and visiting other resorts and water parks, etc. Is this feasible?

We stayed there last June. It is within walking distance, but would be a bit of a walk. Bus transportation is available at the hotel to DD and the parks. We found it to be very reliable.

We stayed there last december and really enjoyed it...you are within an easy walk of DD and Marketplace. There is free transport running pretty regularly from the Village Hotels to the DD and Marketplace also..after a day in Epcot we actually walked down to spend the evening there and took the bus back as it started to rain....Walking time for us two adults was about 10 minutes or so, and it is all sidewalks with a cross walk with light to get across the road to DD..hope this helps...
