Not to hijack this thread (there were actually some good coupons yesterday) but my double paper has gone up to $5!!! That is crazy. I know a year ago it was only $2. That is a huge increase.

I hate buying the newspaper I think our Sunday paper went 1.50 to 2.00 and there is nothing more in it

What is a double paper? I found subscribing to the Sunday edition only using their promotion came to $1.25 a week. You might want to call circulation of your paper and ask if they have any promotions going for Sunday only. Otherwise, do you have a Dollar store nearby? They sometimes have Sunday papers.

Yes, it was one of the better weeks for coupons. As always depends on your region. Some places give much better coupons than others.

My Sunday paper had four coupon inserts. And I ended up with two papers since I bought my usual copy and then went to a home and garden show where the newspaper was giving away free copies!

It was a really good coupon week for me! Whenever I see Unilever in the coupon previews, I plan on getting a LOT of papers as the local stores will be running promos over the next month or so.

I got 4 copies of the local paper (only $1) and 4 copies of the "big city" paper ($1.75), plus the free weekly had 2 of the 4 inserts in it so I picked up 4 copies of that as well. Each newspaper had slightly different coupons with some different values, so that's I got the different ones. (Some weeks I'll only buy 2-4 papers total). Best of all, I used "free" money from different store promos to get the papers.

I live in the land of super grocery competition with doubles up to $.99. Couponing works very well for me
