For those of you who coupon, I went to CVS today and they had the Tylenol Precision Patches (4ct) clearanced for 1.94. I had coupons that were $5.00 off! So, I bought 3 boxes and made 9.18 off of those purchases!

More money for the Disney souvenir fund!!!! :woohoo:

Thanks for the heads up.

I went to pick up 2 and they were sold out. The store was complaining about a customer who cleared their shelf. I hope this Extreme Couponing fad doesn't make it bad for the rest of us.

I promise it wasn't me that cleared the shelves! I only get a few of an item when I go!! I find myself very frustrated when I get excited about a deal, get to the store EARLY to take advantage of the deal, only to find that someone came thru and wiped it out!!!

Grrr! I wish CVS would be consistent from one to the next. My local CVSs don't allow overage. They ring coupons in as the price of the item if the item is less than the coupon. So in this case they would override the $5.00 and only give me off $1.94, the cost of the item.

No, no, I wasn't referring to you in any way about clearing out shelves. This was just something the store employees were mumbling about when I went to get two. I ended up going to another store who in turn -helpfully- gave me a raincheck. I will only be getting them for free when their back in stock (no money making), but I'm pretty happy. :woohoo:

Again, thanks for sharing. :goodvibes

Walgreens has all the Ty Precise creams/patches for $7.99 minus in-store $3 coupon = $4.99. Use your $5.00 manufacturers coupon and it's free. However, I had to get a rain check since they were out-of-stock.
