Coupon Train~


Got a HUGE envelope from Kim today. Will have it out to the mail to Helen next week. I did put a small envelope to Helen out yesterday.
 
Hello all! I am posting this here, but will also be sending it as a PM later this evening. Something has been occurring which I would like to address. When there are changes in the train, members either joining or leaving, a PM gets sent out so everyone is aware of the changes and the train can run smoothly with no disruptions in receiving coupons. For my part, I notify everyone by Saturday for any changes going into effect for the coming week. Since we all mail out on Monday, this is plenty of heads up for changes. There have been quite a few instances in the past month of this system falling apart- while the PMs are sent out, riders are not reading them in a timely manner, so envies continue to be mailed to riders no longer on the train. In the hopes of correcting this I need everyone to do the following:
Go to your Control Panel. Under setting and options, click on edit options. Make sure that email notifications are enabled for BOTH:
1)Receive email notification of new private messages
2)For default thread subscription mode, set to instant email notification
Hopefully this will keep everyone in the loop for train updates. Lastly, please empty out PM mailboxes so that you can receive new PM's and they do not get bounced back.

Thank you for these instructions. I will be doing this to receive email notifications of PMs. I do receive my email on my phone so it reminds me to check my email regularly so hopefully I won't miss any more PMs. My internet wasn't working for quite awhile after an ice storm we had here so I deeply apologize for not responding to DIS PMs.
 
I have 3 envies ready for Mary for tomorrow. I went to Market Basket today for the first time this year since they added the 4% off everything- saved $5.18, plus $13.50 from coupons.

My Pm box is not full, but I did set up the area as you said to do. Have you sent out any PM's?
 
Have not sent out the PMs yet. My laptop crashed :badpc:and I have been getting online with my phone and the generosity of my DS16. Hopefully it will happen later today.
 
Mary- I am so sorry - I forgot the envies this morning and didn't remember until I was on my way to work:headache: We're expecting a snowstorm tonight into tomorrow, so I am not sure if I'll get to the post office tomorrow after the weather clears, but I WILL get there on Thursday if I can't. I'm sorry!!
