Chrelaine --- my friend dropped me a couple of (next weeks?) inserts (SS & RP) on Sunday so I mailed you a thin evie on Monday.

I still haven't received last week's envie but as soon as I do, another envie will be on its way to you!

I really like Cartwheel. One of my first Cartwheel savings was $45. The cashier was shocked. It was Xmas and they did BOGO on any Xmas lights. My DH wanted these crazy expensive LED icicle lights, so I got them as a gift for him at half price I use it with coupons and my Red card. I never save a ton but a little each visit is good for me! I just started using ibotta last month and I am up to $10. Can't beat free money for things I would have bought anyway!

Didn't receive an envie last week. Maybe running late due to the holiday weekend? Sent envie to U.P.North today, pretty full because my grandma gave me lots of inserts.

I wish I knew how to use Ibotta. I get as far as taking the shot of the bar code and then I don't know how to move forward to get the shot of the receipt. How do you do it?

I'm still getting used to it. It takes time and I am not a patient person lol. You activate your rebates, go shopping, then choose redeem. You have to scan the UPC of non-produce items. Then, you choose capture receipt and it walks you through scanning a receipt. I liked when I shopped at WalMart because you can just scan their bar code at the bottom of the receipt. Much easier but I tend to avoid WalMart, for many reasons.

I haven't bought anything we weren't buying anyway, and I've accumulated $10 in less than a month.

I had some trouble about a month ago with Ibotta, and I emailed for help because I had quite of bit that I was trying to redeem and I ended up having to un-install and re-install the app. The tech had told me they were some issues with certain ios products, but my phone is an android so it wasn't that. I use my Ibotta cash to get Starbucks gift cards that we use on vacation - lots of WDW and DL frappachinos have been bought that way!

I bought some at Walgreens and captured the bar code on the carton but then tried to continue by scanning the receipt but could never find out how to go on to the receipt. It just kept wanting to have me scan the bar code and it's like it wouldn't go on to the next step which is the receipt part. I finally just gave up after trying to do it about five times and getting nowhere. I use an Android phone too. Maybe I should uninstall the app and reinstall it also. I use Checkout 51 and Snap and have no problems with them so it's frustrating that I can't seem to make Ibotta work for me. Argh!!

Yesterday (Tuesday) I received the envie my sender mailed last week.

They are both cash back on purchases sites. SNAP is run by Groupon. What I like about them is you just have to scan your receipt after checking off the item you've purchased. It's not as many steps as like Ibotta is. I don't think I can post their websites according to DIS guidelines, but you can find info on both of them if you just google them. If you figure out Ibotta, let me know.

Hi Shel and Stacey,

We have been out of town since Friday morning and just returned a couple hours ago so have unpacked the suitcase but not much more yet. Have to go pick up our kitties at the kennel when they open in another hour. Then I will look at today's paper for the new inserts, clip coupons and go through the coupons that arrived on Friday or Saturday from Stacey and get my envie for Shel put together. So glad the envies are arriving on Thursdays now, Shel. I know that helps you to get them then rather than on Friday or Saturday.
