Just got back from the grocery store and had such a great shopping trip that I had to share. I spent $36.57 oop and saved $62.19 combining sale prices with coupons. We have only one store here that will double coupons and they have REALLY strict rules. You can only double up to 5 coupons and only on Wednesdays and you have to have a $25 purchase before they double. Well today only they let you double up to ten coupons. That's how I was able to combine sale prices with coupons and save so much off my bill. They had to call the manager over to give approval even. I also got catalinas for a free gallon of milk and 4-pack of YoCrunch yogurt and .20 off my next fill up on gas. I just shopping trips like this one.

Way to go ShiPoo! Makes it an even sweeter victory when they have such strigent rules and you can comply, they give you the evil eye and get the manager's approval, and you still come out ahead.

Great shopping trip!!! You know you did a good job if they have to call the manager over After hearing all your rules, I really appreciate all the places that double coupons that we have around here. We even have one that will double $1.00 coupons (up to 5 of them) but their prices are high so you have to wait for sales.
