Thank you to everyone who posted their experiences, suggestions, and support.

I will be out again tomorrow. I think I will go back in and ask to speak with the manager. I completely agree with the statement... I was made to feel as if I was stealing. I know we all have bad days and I was not about to meet her on that level, but the more I have thought about it (along with everyone's comments) I really think that they should know how she behaved. I am sure that I was not the only person she treated that way.

They said they have had too much fraud with them. and for the first time, I had a problem with one of the Disney ones at a WalMart. At first the cashier wasn't going to even try it and then after I insisted WalMart does accept them, she asked a Manager. When she came back she tried to make it sound like he was letting her do it as a favor (:confused3) But I knew better, she was just new. I did thank her for asking someone else.

I'm not sure if this week is a mandatory mailing week but I did not receive any coupons from the train last week and I did not have any coupons in my paper yesterday. I apologize, but as of right now, I have nothing to mail to you! :sad1:

If the envie comes from the train or if I can get to my parent's house to pick up the last couple of weeks of coupons from them, I might be able to get something out by the end of the week.

Not to worry, Vsimeone! 12/21 and 12/28 are both optional weeks for us to send. Nothing will be required mailing until 1/4. :thumbsup2

cjnix, I have a huge envie to send to you but I've got to go to the PO for it and we were just hit with a blizzard so I don't know when I'll get out but hopefully sometime this week.
 
So, today I went back to Target and asked to speak with the store manager. Well, the girls at the Customer Service desk were not too excited to call him and went through the list of Is it something we can help with? Is it a problem? Finally they call him and it took him about 15 min to get to the desk. I started out by explaining that I have usually enjoyed being in there store and that usually the employees were professional. However, I explained Saturday's situation. The entire time I was talking to him he was watching everything that was going on around us. (I am a Kindergarten teacher and I often multi-task and keeping an eye on everything, but I felt that he did not care.)

When I finished explaining the events he said, "A lot of people who are trying to use coupons feel that we are singling them out. Sounds like you knew the coupon policy. You should have explained the policy to her. :confused3 (Like that is my job-SHE IS A MANAGER.) Don't let this prevent you from coming back. Have a nice day." He turned and walked away.

Obviously, her attitude and management style are shared by the rest of the management team at this store. I am a little surprised because this store has only been there a little less than a year. I would have thought that they would still be at the state where everyone has been trained by the books.

Well, I went across town to run other errands and stopped at the Target there. SIL suggested that I have it rung up in the electronics department. This is what I did. The young man had a hard time getting the Tinkerbell DMR coupon to ring up. (Darn that Tinkerbell) The manager was right there and came over and keyed it in. He also said," What a great deal $30 off of $50 worth of movies. I wish I was that good at getting a deal." :lovestruc I had to do it!! I said, "Well don't go to the east store they HATE people who try to spend their money conscientiously." He laughed and said, "You know we here more complaints about them. We are just glad to have you here. Come back anytime!"

It was an extra 25-30 minutes across town, but I am glad I went to that store and probably will do it more often now. I am also thinking about send an email to the corporate office.

Thanks for following my trials and tribulations with Target, Tinkerbelle, and "the talking rats" (that's what my neice calls the G-Force movie.) I hope that they will be appreciative when they get their stockings.

I got your envie today. Could you please check closer for out-of-date coupons? About one third of them went out between October and the first week in December. I did find quite a few I could use. I will send the others on to my buddy in case she can get them before the 31st.

Oh my, Heather, this has been such an ordeal for you. :sad2: I really had hoped the manager would come through for you today, but he obviously failed big time. I'm glad you went to the other store and completed your purchase there. They obviously know how to do business the right way and how to treat their customers. I do the same thing with our CVS stores. I will not go to the one closest to my house because too many of their employees are just plain cold and nasty to those of us who use coupons. I will drive twice as far to the CVS that always greets us warmly, welcomes our coupons, and will always go out of their way to make their customers happy. :thumbsup2

I'm sure your nieces and nephews will love their Christmas stockings from you. :santa: :love: :santa:

So sorry about the dates, I just flew the ones I received and sent them right out to you since I was late mailing them. I did not receive a envie this week, lost my sender but Thursday I'm meeting up witht the In-Laws and they always have coupons for me. So, I should have some to send this weekend. I know it's not manatory but if I have them I'll send them.
