One of my teaching buddies is leaving on the 13th and she is busting at the seams. She is always talking about all the seasonal things they have planned. I want to go for the holidays too. (Where is the temper tantrum icon? ) But for you

Hopefully we can go nearer Christmas next year, if the school schedule changes like they are predicting. I like the MNSSHP and FWF, but this year we really noticed how Sept./Oct. is no longer the secret season for Disney. It wasn't as crowded as spring break was but it was not nearly as empty as it had been in previous years. If it is going to be busier, I would love to go and see the lights and all the holidy fare.

Yes, flying there on 12/1. We have driven it before but it takes 2 1/2 days because driving straight through is impossible (for us at least). I think we drove it twice before we vowed never again..... The extra money for the flight wasn't that much when you figure in meals, motels, gas, tolls, and, mostly, our sanity.

The Christmas decorations and atmosphere at DW are totally awesome. It's our favorite time of year to go to Disney because the weather is usually perfect for us, the crowds are a little smaller (unless you go the week before and especially the week after Christmas ~~ crazy crowded then! ). I hope you get to experience it sometime. You would love it, I'm sure of it!
