I love, love, love Woodman's!

Which one do you shop at? We go to the one on Randall Rd in Carpentersville.

I love Woodman's too. I live in Wisconsin and we have 2 of them in our town. We call it "The Woodmonster's" because it is so big. The prices are really good there and it is often better to use a coupon there than to double it at the Copps/Pick N Save. For instance, I used a doubled $1 coupon on a Sargento String Cheese snack pack at Copps. The regular price was $7.19 and on sale for $5.19. I doubled my coupon for a price of $3.19. I saw the SAME item at Woodman's for $5.79 (I think). If I were to double the coupon at the regular Copps price I would have paid $5.19 for the item and at Woodman's using the undoubled coupon I would have paid $4.79. Another comparison ... Old El Paso Taco Shells were .99 at Woodmans ($1.39 regular price) and at Copps they were $2.29.

I have learned that I should only use my double coupons at Copps on things that they have marked down because their pricing is too high for their items. I have also learned to bring my coupon binder with me when I shop at Woodmonsters because I bought a couple things yesterday that I *knew* I had coupons for at home. *sigh*

Hi all! Had a nice time on the cruise and vacation, but I'm glad to be back home. Weird, I know.

Will send out my envie to J&D+2Princesses tomorrow (6/6). I'm so ready for summer. This is when I take inventory and purge the stockpiles, but I have been doing a little of that already, sending to the tornado victims. We've also had crazy wildfires in this area, but so far it has been mostly structural damage and (unfortunately) livestock. But we can be thankful that no one's home or health were affected.

Also, don't know if I posted this but thanks Jen for the envelope. It came the day we were leaving, so it really came in handy for the "after vacation" giant shopping trip! We tried to use everything in the fridge, freezer and pantry before we left to 1. save money and 2. keep things from spoiling in case the unthinkable happened (power failure, fridge dying). But it made for a LOT of work after we got home. Your coupons really helped with the re-stocking! Although I was disappointed the fridge didn't die. It's on its last leg, and I really want a new one

It will probably live forever just to spite me Hope you all have a great summer!
