Coupon Organizer?

Ok budget minded friends... what do you use to organizer your coupons? I have one of those regular fabric type organizers that has a velcro closure with divided tabs inside, but it's just not big enough. My velcro is barely hanging on because it's so jam packed with coupons. The last straw was when I went to close it in Rite Aid and I dropped it and all my coupons fell on the floor in one big giant mess :headache: . I'm in search of a better method for my coupon organizing... any suggestions? :confused3

I am also looking for something different. I got mine at Target and it is the flexible plastic type. It has a band that goes around it to keep it closed. It has worked fine but I have too many coupons now. I also need more slots so that I can break down some of my categories (like HBA) so they are easier to thumb through while standing in an isle. I paperclipped them last week inot subcategories and just stuck them back in, but that is making it even more bulky.

I know some people do a binder(?) I just can't seem to grasp that idea.

I found this on YouTube that explains the binder method:

I think I like this method and I may try it myself. Looks like I'll be hitting Staples this weekend to get all of my supplies. Can't be any worse than what I have now.

I did the envelope method, but they get too worn, so I bought a plastic cd holder, but not too organized. I bought a $1 coupon organizer from the dollar spot but I have way too many Q's & broke it after a month. I stuck them back in my cd holder & today I bought a nice Mead zipper binder with lots of little pouches for $3 (BTS clearance!). If anyone finds the bigger inserts to put in there for a good price, please post :)

I use a small index card holder small box that is
plastic and turn the dividers around and write your own catagories
or a small photo box works the same

I tried the binder method for a while, but it got to be too much - so now I do the file folder method. I file each week's inserts by dates then clip the coupons as needed. This works great for Couponmom or Grocery Game users.

I did the binder method for a while. My was less complex IMO as I just filed it all in ABC order. I didnt' need to plan a category, I just flipped to whatever letter it was and I either had a coupon or I didn't. I did have a lot of trouble getting them all in the baseball slots esp when I had 20+ of a single coupon.

I got really far behind and now I use a plastic shoebox w/ categories and all the possiblities listed on the index card. I break down HBA a lot into various categories and the categories are all filed in ABC order.

Sometimes I have too many coupons to fit in the shoebox so it gets backed up.

I hate clipping coupons and while I'd love to go to the filing whole inserts method that does nothing for finding a good clearance deal since those vary from store to store.

I have the couponizer system. I have had for two months and it is starting to rip.:confused3 Maybe I am just rough on stuff. Other than that I love it!

I have one of those general paper coupon holders and have changed a few of the name to better suit me. Then I put it in a empty baby wipe container. It keeps it from getting too ripped up and I can put some coupons behind the paper one for things like chuck e cheese or random ones (it stays in the car so I have it should we plan a last minute trip) and I put the ones I am using in front. I also keep some pins in it.

I use a large index card box. I also took the A,B,C dividers and turned them
over and wrote my own descriptions on the tabs.
Works great for me!! I've used the same one for YEARS!!!!

I have 2 of the coupon organizers. I have one for the grocery store and one for the drug store. It makes life so much easier.
