My envie came yesterday. It too had been ripped, but it appeared that all the contents were intact. Now I'm worried about the one I sent. I think I'll start taping the bottom the make it sturdier.

Thanks for letting me know about its condition. I'm so glad that the coupons themselves seemed intact for the most part. Hope there were many you can use. Smidgen21 has a very good idea  for those of us who send big plump envelopes. I always tape the seams but it would be good to reinforce the edges as well with some tape. We could always switch to manila envelopes if the envie is packed extra full because they are a lot stronger than the white business envelopes. I'm thinking that with all the bad weather the country has been having plus the additional quantity of mail that the holidays bring to the USPS, the envies of coupons probably get a beating on their train route. :scared:

Thanks so much to ShiPooOwner for the coupons....it has been hard the last couple of weeks living off of the paper coupons only....it was nice to have that little surprise in the mailbox....:cool1:

Hey there :yay: ! Just want to let you know your envie arrived yesterday :) It took on a casualty in the mail process though :( It came half ripped open down the middle and located in a small plastic postal bag. I bet the wet weather got to it.
Anyways, THANK YOU!!! I opened it on my lap last night after dinner and felt like it was Christmas! Thank you again :)

You know I am so sorry..I totally forgot to put it in a plastic bag....I will remember to do it next week and the following weeks...I hope that you can use some of the extra cupies I put in there for you though....hope they were not damaged too bad....:santa:

Maybe we should make a post that we all have to put them in plastic bags first and also tape the bottoms and sides of the envelopes before we send them...that way we are all sure to get them intact...we should just make that a standard rule....

I received your envie on Thursday! It was a nice surprise to find to find when I returned home from work.

Maybe everyone is getting coupons for $10 off a Fashion Bug purchase of $25 or more but if anyone isn't and wants mine, I have two of them that expire on Jan. 4th. Just let me know and they're yours.

My SIL loves to shop there. If they aren't taken I would love to be able to give them to her.

I agree....I'm planning to do this starting monday.

My paper was bare today! I'm going to call my Mom to see if her paper had coupons, but I may have to just send on the remainder of my envie from this week. Anyone else have an empty paper??? :confused3

Hi Train Riders! :yay: It looks like many newspapers did not have coupon inserts today. :sad2: Between severe weather problems, the holiday crunch, and no coupon inserts, I am going to declare tomorrow (Dec. 22) as an OPTIONAL mailing day rather than required. If you want to mail envies to your receivers, I'm sure they would appreciate them. :santa: If you don't have a lot of coupons and want to hold off and mail next on Jan. 12th, that is also acceptable. If you decide to wait and not mail any coupons until Jan. 12th, PLEASE make sure you go through your coupon bank and remove all expired or nearly expired coupons as a TON of them expire on 12/31. Remember that your receiver doesn't get the envies until 3-5 days after you mail them. Give them sufficient time to sort, organize, and actually use the coupons. I suggest a MINIMUM of ten days beyond their arrival date. More is better!

So, to review, the following dates are all optional to send on: Dec. 22, Dec. 29, and Jan. 5. If you do choose to send envies on any of those dates, PLEASE post on our thread so your receiver can be expecting them in their mail delivery. Those of you who receive envies between now and Jan. 12th, PLEASE also post on our thread that they arrived safely. To those of you who ALWAYS remember to do that, thank you! :worship:

So stay warm, stay safe, and if you have any questions or concerns please PM me. It's way below zero here today so I'm thinking of hibernating. :cold: :surfweb: Now for another cup of coffee with some peppermint mocha in it. :woohoo:

I have plenty of coupons so your envie is going out tomorrow but might arrive after Christmas. I'll tape it up nice and strong this time and it will, hopefully, arrive in one intact piece. :thumbsup2

:goodvibes Thank you! I'm looking foward to receiving it!

I'm sending you an envie tomorrow. Sorry, it's a little on the light side since my paper (and my mom's paper) had no coupies today :scared:

Have a Merry Christmas!

Has anyone mailed out their P&G coupon offer? I managed to spend my $50 this week ($40 of that was on diapers :scared: )

I made copies of my receipts and the coupon offer for my files. I started doing that with rebates and such a few years ago so I can track when I mailed things/ensure they arrive as they are supposed to. Just a tip :goodvibes

I got my coupons on Saturday, Thank you!!!:cool1:

Oh good! I was starting to get worried  . I won't be sending an envie out today as I have been gone all weekend but I plan on going through my coupons tonight to see if there were any I missed. So hopefully I'll get one out by Wednesday :)
