Finally! but yet "argh" at the same time for the postage due . Sorry about that. I'm actually heading out in a few to take your current envie to the post office. I need to pick up stamps anyways and want to get this current one weighed due to the new regulations.
I know it's going out late this week but I've been MIA due to the wrists. Today is a better day tho and I can't wait to get out of this house!!!

So what's everyone planning for their summer vacations?! Being off from work in this nice weather really gets me thinking of where I'd rather be
Of course Disney is front and center in my mind...and then heading to NY to visit friends and DH's family would be great too. This weekend is a big party to celebrate my sister's graduation from college (this past weekend) and I'm excited to see some of my family I last saw around Christmas. Yup, that's just about it.

We are going to the beach the 2nd week in June! I can't wait.

Yay, the beach!! I just realized that we have a beach right down the road from our house . When I went to the closest post office the other day to mail your envie, there was the public beach parking! I mean, we've only lived in the house 7 months and I've only been living in the area my whole life . DH is doing his fire training at an elementary school today (teaching about fire safety, I know, how sweet!!) and will be getting home early. So I promised we'd head down to the beach when he gets home (praying the t-storms hold off until tonight).
And don't worry, I've been handling everything just fine. Being off from work has helped. It's amazing how much stress plays a part on your immune system and body.

ShiPooOwner, I got my envie!!! TY so much for looking out for me Your acts do not go by unnoticed! DH and I will be able to go out to lunch at TGIF Sunday because of you .

I was a little afraid to answer your question about summer plans since our spring seemed to evaporate for a few days, but now it's back and I hope I don't jinx it by talking about summer.

In July DH and I will be flying to Boston using the last of our NWA frequent flyer miles. We're renting a car and heading to Cape Cod and renting a little cottage right on a private beach for a week. Last time we did this our boys were little but now there's just the two of us, so we'll probably make the cottage our home base and enjoy all the beautiful warm days just being lazy on the beach. On days that are cooler or rainy, we hope to take some side trips to places within a day's drive from Boston. I would love suggestions from those of you who live in MA, NH, VT, (and ME if that isn't too far from Boston?) We've visited Plymouth and Salem in the past so probably won't visit them again this time. Looking for ideas!

I think it's near South Yarmouth but I'll look up the exact info and PM you over the weekend. It's buried in an online file somewhere. Such organization I have! When we were there last with our two sons~~I think it was in about 2000 or 2001~~ we stayed in Provincetown but that was way up at the tip and it seemed to take a long time to get there so we wanted something closer to Boston. I'll get back to you and thanks so much for offering to help with some recommendations! (Last time we took a whale watching tour, went to a Red Sox game, went deep sea fishing, went to Salem and Plymouth, but no lighthouses from the inside at least because I have an irrational fear of heights and open staircases .... honest! (so embarrassing to admit that) The reason we stayed in Provincetown was it was the only house I could find to rent that had a swimming pool. I must've thought it would feel like Orlando there?? Well........it wasn't heated and the darn thing was so cold that I went into it ONCE! I no longer insist on a swimming pool on Cape Cod!

Yes, I have been getting all the envies from you and they did get a the little package from you and I posted a thank you to you and I also sent you a PM...they loved it...I didn't get an envie last week and I still haven't gotten one this week, which I thought was odd for you cause you are always on time... thought maybe you were just on vacation...I was going to send you a PM tonight and noticed that you posted this tonight...I will check the mail tomorrow (Saturday) and lets hope that there is something there..but usually it doesn't take this long...
