Roxanne: Clarabell Cow is the lady in charge of the Spoonerville Scoop, our local newspaper. But she's pretty much turned it into a tabloid magazine, printing whatever gossip and rumors she hears as if it's the truth, when most of it is completely wrong. Max and his dad worked with her at the House of Mouse for a while before she took over the Scoop. She had a gig at the club sharing the latest news, and that gave her the idea to take over the newspaper.

Max: Now nobody wants to read it. Half the town's dropped their subscriptions, and now I'm out of another job, since I had a paper route after Dad and I left our jobs at the House of Mouse. But when she decided to run the Scoop, it all went down hill.
