Couple questions....

How do you think the crowds will be on 12/14-12/15? We were going to go this thursday-friday but my husband got a job interview on thursday (hopefully he gets it, fingers crossed)!

Also my son's birthday is on monday and he will be 2. So can he get the free gift card?

It'll be busier than it was earlier in the month...

The funcards give you the amount of what a one day ticket for you would cost. Since he gets in free...no funcard or other options with the birthday promo.

Mondays and Tuesdays should be less busy than Fridays through Sundays--but I would try to go as early as possible.

I'm sorry your son can't get the gift card...he should be able to get a birthday button, though!

The gift cards are in lieu of the free birthday entry if you have an AP or PH already. He can celebrate by getting in free and being free for Character meals, etc.

Under 3 is free at all character meal buffets. Goofy's included!

Since he's under 3 he's basically free everywhere. Take him to a character meal on his bday and enjoy!! They are doing a new one at the PPH with Mickey, he might enjoy that one. I will be there the same days, it doesn't appear that Disney is expecting large crowds, the parks are closing earlier during the week then on the weekend.

Edited to say that last week M-Th the hours for DL were 9-9 but now they've extended them, M-W it's 9-11 for DL and Th it's 8-12, DCA appears to be 10-7.

Unless they order him a meal of his own he should be free. If they do get him his own meal they can order the toddler meal, they are about $4.00. And I wasn't saying not to order a buffet, the Mickey Bfast should have one of those, Minnie & Friends is a buffet, Storyteller's has a buffet, Goofy's is a buffet, Ariel's is the only one that isn't, but they won't charge for him because he's 2, they would just bring him a plate to eat off of. I'm confused...I never said not to order buffet....

Now I have to decided what characer breakfast to go to? We are staying off the property. I would like the most character interaction possible with great food, since it cost's a arm and a leg!

Sorry, just personal experience. We went to ariels and it didn't dawn on me that since it wasn't a buffet that DD2's meal wasn't included in our vouchers. I ordered lunch for her out of habit.

Our family did not enjoy Goofy's Kitchen, we did not like that food that much (I had high hopes for the PB pizza but yuck), the bacon was really good but that was about it, the characters ignored us almost completely. Chip was fun, he came over and messed around for a while, Snow White remembered us from the day before (we saw her in the Animation Academy and did photos with her) and there was 1 other character that came to our table...everyone else just walked past us on the way to their breaks, we stayed the full 90 min. and had 3 characters stop at our table. It was really disappointing. For us Minnie & Friends was the BEST experience, tons of characters, very good food with lots of choices, we must have spent our full 90 min here and we had so many characters stop by, so many I can't even list them all. Ariel's Grotto, the food is served family style so they bring platters with food and plates for everyone, the Princesses come around to your table as you're eating. The food was good and plentiful, if we needed anything we just asked for it and it was given to us, the Princesses are great of course but you only see the 5 they have there at the time. We enjoyed Lilo & Stitch very much but it's being changed to Mickey's bfast so I don't know how much it will change, we have not done Storyteller's.

Oh got it, they should have asked you about it, you could have ordered the cheapo toddler meal or just fed her from your plates as you suggested. Altho if you had gone for bfast it wouldn't have mattered, bfast at AG is served family style on platters, they just bring plates for everyone. Sorry that happened to you.

I have been to them all and the best by far I think is the Lilo and Stitch one at the Paradise Pier. The crowds were low probably because it gets overlooked because people think you just get Lilo and Stitch, but when we went they had Minnie, Pluto, Daisy and my all time favorite Donald (who I had been to Goofy's Kitching like 4 times trying to get!). It is cheaper and the food was great, they had some island flair and salmon as well as some lunch items even during breakfast. I don't think my family will ever go to any of the other ones ever again, this one was awesome.
