ok, i know for some 5 months out is not "down to the wire", but for me it is ;) last time I cruised, DH and I went with a group. We are again going with a group, and would like to have the same server if possible. He loved our "evening" attire, and has remembered us. 2 of the others who went on our cruise have been on subsequent cruises, and had him, and he has asked about the rest of the group. Amazing memory! Anyway, his name is Liam Scott, from Ocho Rios, Jamaica. I have his address, and if he is still onboard, I want to write and ask if he will be onboard when we sail. If he's not, I don't want my letter to go to the dead mail office. Also, if he IS onboard, how do I go about getting him for a server? Do I ask when I make my final payment, or do I have to wait until I'm onboard, and then go to dining rotation change request?
Where do you get that "Malibu" stuff that I read about for swimsuits? I can't find the link.
Is the repeat cruiser gift still a Castaway Club towel? Not a prob if it is, then DH and I won't fight over the 1 that we have. Just curious. Of course, even if it is, it could change before July.
Other questions have left my brain at the moment. They'll come back at a most inopportune time, I'm sure, like when I CAN'T get to the computer!
Thanks in advance for any help.
Oh, BTW, Andy....I STILL can't get the stinkin' photo to work in my signature. I added the extra brackets, I shrunk the photo to the correct size...I have NO idea what I'm doing wrong.

I know when I wanted a certain server, they would not let me request it. They gave me some scripted line about not knowing who'll be on board. As soon as we boarded, I went to go to where you can change your dinner rotation and talked to our head server. He had us switched.

When I called DCL they let me request the server we had last year. I'm not sure if he will be on board, but they did make a note of it. And they were very nice about it also.

Boy, oh Boy, you really did reduce the size of this photo, didn't you?

It's because you're not pointing to a photo in terms of what the browser can understand, I think...usually they end in .jpg or .gif in order for the browser to say "Hey, it's a picture, not a link!". Has anyone else made it work by pointing to that script? I have a free host and post my pics there, then point to them, along the lines of http://psomom.homestead.com/files/JeanDavid.jpg ...

(tell me if I'm confusing you more, being a webmaster for a full time job I know I speak technobabble that results in blank stares more often than not... *grin*)

krhardy,

I just sent you a PM with a photo copy of how your URL address should appear in your sig. Take a look at that and see if that helps.

Good Luck!!!

O.K., now you just have to get your photo enlarged a little.
