My family will be going to Disney end of May/first week of June. My Ex wife will be taking our 6 year old daughters the following week. With it being such a quick turn around and the girls will be exhausted will it be more beneficial for them if we rent a stroller? It is such a tough age to consider being in a stroller, but the amount of walking we will be doing would have to be hard on a couple of 6 year old kids. Then, having to do it again the next week. I also want them to have a great week with their mother and let them show her around. I'm also pretty sure that she is not planning on taking a stroller during her week.

Also, has anyone had any experiences with parent swap. I know that there are some rides that our two year old won't be able to ride. How is Parent swap working right now? Is it still a thing they are doing?

We just got back and used a double stroller for our 7,5 and 3 year old. 3 was in it pretty much the whole time and the two others switched. We were really happy to have it because everyone was tired after all that walking.
We did multiple rider swaps. We just checked in with the cast member at the front of the rider and they scanned our magic bands. One set would then go wait in the line and the others would go find something to do.

There is no shame using a stroller at Disney for bigger kids. Its a lot of walking. Miles everyday. We bought a good lightweight stroller for our five yer old ( didnt have one anymore), used it for our trip, and sold it locally when we returned at a good turn-around price.
