Couple of questions re. ASMo's?

HI, we're doing our planning a little early since there will be at least 8 or 9 nine of us going. I was wondering how the busses were at ASMo, since I know that they share a bus with the other All Star resorts?.. Because of this- is there a long wait or are the seats kinda picked over?
Also, is there a section that you prefer because it may be a little quiter or closer to food courts, bus stop, etc? If we did stay there, I had thought about requesting to be near the Toy Story icons ( my dd is a big fan  ). What do you think?....

I would request whatever section's theming appeals to you most. Overall its a pretty compact resort(at least thats my opinion, after staying at POR which I thought was huge) and not far of a walk from any point to another.

We have stayed in TS and enjoyed it, but also in MD and liked that too. From there its just as easy to go over to ASMU to catch the bus or go to the food court, therefore getting a better chance of a seat on the bus, or getting off sooner on your return trip. With that said, even times we have gone to the ASMO bus stop, we havent had much of a problem getting seats. A couple times they would be crowded(early morning), but they do send empty busses sometimes too.

Agree with CamColt, the place is pretty compact, the Love Bug is the furthest out, if you can even call it that.

Have never had a long wait or a too crowded bus when we were there-it WAS low season, though.

I requested Toy Story, too...she'll love it. :goodvibes

we got the Dalmation Bldg which was great also. right next to the pref.bldg. also just a 1 - 2 min. walk to the food court, not even a min. to the pool. usually we are there in the summer, so the buses are pretty full, but still not bad. have a great time if you go.

Diffrent times of day I found changed how the busses were running. Also the Drivers radio in if they are full and if there are line ups to send out more busses.

You really see this working like clock work when a park closes and everyone is trying to get back to there resort.

We were just there in November and stayed at the Toy story building. I requested it and they were able to give it to us. The theme was great! The building was close to the pool and the food court, but not noisy. The bus was close too. The buses came pretty quickly. At night it was a little crowded and you are the last stop, but it was just as well, because we had a stroller and it would be a pain to be one of the first stops and have to squeeze past all of the people with it. When leaving the park at closing, you can see when the buses are packed and wait for the next one. We did that a few times. The only park we had our own bus from was the MK. They send plenty of buses though, so you're not waiting long. Leaving the hotel in the morning and going back and forth during the day was easy. Leaving at park closing was where it got tricky. We were also there at an unexpected busy week. I hope I didn't scare you!! ;)
