We have been to Ohana's a few times and love it. We have never been yet with the new menu. (I believe it was starting on our last trip in July of 2005, because they had added the sausage to the menu but the other stuff was still there) I am wondering about a few things... Is the bannana foster the only dessert you can get? No more pineapple with caramel sauce? Can you still order some desserts separetly?
Also if you mention that its your anniversary, what are some things that they have done? (I'm hoping not sing :rotfl2:  )

Thanks

The bread pudding with banana foster sauce is the only desert they give you. No more pineapple. You are able to order any of the other deserts but those will cost you money.

For our anniversary we have gotten a cupcake, sung to, congratulated, and nothing and different combinations of the above, so it all depends on the server and the night.

I'm pretty sure the bread pudding is the only thing offered at all. I don't believe there are other menu choices any longer.

The bread pudding is awesome (don't think like hard dried out bread pudding with raisins in it or something like that), think gooey warm sweet cake-like bread pudding served with vanilla ice cream and a delicious warm cinammony banana's foster sauce to go over top (comes in it's own little serving pitcher). It's awesome. It is sweet though, but I love sweet sweets.

Don't worry about the Bananas Foster being the only dessert on the plan....it is AWESOME!!!! Our favorite part of the meal, for sure, when we ate there in Sept 05. I suppose, if you don't like bananas, you might not like it....but we LOVED it! :thumbsup2

The waiter said they can still get the pineapple and sauce, but it would be extra.

The banana foster was SO good. I wish I had more room cause I would of had more. The waiter offered but I just couldn't squeeze it in. I love the new style potatoes. They were very tasty. You'll love it. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone
One time my hubby ordered some sort of chocolate cake. (he hates pineapple) The bread pudding with Bananas Foster Sauce does sound very yummy, but I don't like that those types of desserts are cooked with alchol. Since my kids will want some. Am I correct in saying this? I was thinking maybe I could order a cake and suprise hubby since this will be our Anniversary dinner. Where can I order a cake?

It's not cooked with alcohol - it's a bread pudding with bananas foster caramel sauce - -even if it was a flambee type dessert all alcohol would be cooked off so it shouldn't matter if it was served to a child or not.
