1) for me... Does the Grand Californian still do the early entry 'tour' for guests staying there? That was so neat when I was there last spring - getting to be the only ones on Soarin' before the park opened!

2) for a client... I know at WDW if you have a handicap placard you can use the resort (hotel) valet parking free. Is that the same at DL?

I don't know how early your "tour" was before the park opened, but I have gotten into the park 1/2 hour before it opens to ride Soarin. Done that quite a few times actually.

They now offer a Power Walk of DCA before it opens. Great idea for fitness and nice way to see the park.

Yes - I believe that they can use the valet for free, but i would call, just to be sure.

I remember was that it was only available to people staying at the Grand Californian. Nobody else was in the parks yet. We met at the GC turnstiles and had to know the secret password. They walked us in and our little group was the first to ride Soarin' for the day. Nobody else on the ride. We filled 1 row. (top center, of course)

I sucked up the long distance charges and called the hotel directly to get my answers.

(yes on the GC guest early thing and yes on free hotel valet parking with h.c. placard)
