Couple of daft questions re: 2014 booking

Interest free credit card with £5000 limit sorted, now just the tough part - making a decison! Every time I feel close to it then I change my mind ha ha

We have decided on CBR because Arlo will love the pirate themed pool but the current dilemma is:

Book with TCD for £4795 all in with full dining plan. Pro's - just pay deposit and sort the balance later, lower risk factor. Cons - paying a bit more and no $200 spends

Book room and tickets with WDW for £2956 and take the gamble on waiting for flights for 2 adults and a child for less than £1700 or book Thomas Cook flights for £1400. Pros - potentially cheaper, $200 spends free. Cons - risk / stress factor, have to pay up front for flights

Just can't wait to get it booked now and let the planning commence!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

With those direct flight prices I would pay now. Unless you want indirect flights your chances of getting cheaper on exact dates are very slim.

Yep its certainly tempting but simultaneously trying to gather opinions on Thomas Cook whilst looking elsewhere

Just on hold with virgin double checking their price, forgot about the 7% flying club discount

One benefit I suppose with a package booking is there is a bit more flexibility if anything unexpected cropped up

We flew Thomas cook last year and they where fine, you got water, tea, coffee, juice. Soft drinks such as coke etc and alcohol had to be paid for unlike virgin, however, food was edible and plane was new :)

Brill thanks for the reply, trying to find out what the plane type is for the Manchester to Orlando route but not sure

My main concern at the moment and the only thing holding me back is with a package if for any reason you need to cancel you only lose the deposit but obviously if flights are 100% non refundable there is a bigger risk involved!

Was there decent in flight entertainment on the planes?

We flew out from Manchester. Entertainment was good films, comedy channels, news etc :)
